#5: A Skatepark

This was an easy one - one mile from our house. The Mathis Brothers Skatepark is 17,500 square feet of ramps, pipes, half-pipes, and bowls (whatever those are!) I am told it is one of Oklahoma's few outdoor, lighted skateparks, and it welcomes skaters, rollerbladers, and bikers. Unfortunately, there were no other skaters in the park when we arrived, so we didn't get to see any cool tricks. Fortunately, since we were the only ones there, I was able to walk out into the park to get these pictures without a fence in front of me. C tried a ramp several times, falling to his side. But when he fell on his back, he was finished. I guess it wasn't as fun as he thought it would be!

A:
There weren't many people there, but it was fun to see all the hill, curves, and the features of the skatepark. C skated at the skatepark, too, but after a little while, we had to go home because C was done.
C:
We went to the skatepark, and there was these ramps that people could jump. There wasn't much of an audience. There was only one person. Then a car came, and more skaters came.
