#57: A Very Big Thing

The Soda Bottle at Pop's in Arcadia
This is one of the newer landmarks located on the Mother Road. Built in 2007, the bottle stands 66 feet tall (in honor of Route 66), and the straw extends the height to 80 feet. Evening is the best time to view the bottle, for each ring is illuminated by LED lights which change colors every few seconds.

While there, we decided to have some fun with some trick photography.

The Pops bottle is something that gets tourists to stop and come by Pops! It is a huge pop bottle that lights up with color changing lights at night! The pops bottle is located on Route 66, so lots of cars go by it. I enjoy sitting and watching the light show that the bottle puts on. It really fascinating to see it. So if you see a huge pop bottle that is lit up, stop and see it! It is something that everyone has to see!

At Pops, there is a statue of a pop bottle. It changes colors at night. It was really cool at night! A and I made a picture where I am a little person, and she is holding me. It's funny! (She wasn't really holding me. I had to run way back into the grass.) Pops is a very fun place because of the pop bottle.
