#85: A Subway

The Oklahoma Spirit
Okay, so we cheated a little on this one. There is no subway in Oklahoma. The closest one is probably in Chicago. So, we tweaked it a little. In the spirit of public transportation, we rode the trolley. The Oklahoma Spirit Trolley is a reproduction of the American Heritage Streetcar, and the three lines service parts of downtown OKC, including Bricktown. We hopped the Blue Line in front of the library and made the loop which passed by the OKC Bombing Memorial site, where we stopped and waited to switch drivers. The trolley is a pleasant form of transportation which reminds us of days gone by, songs by Judy Garland, and boxed rice jingles. I still have that Garland song running through my mind!

A:
The trolley was so facinating! I had never riden a trolley before, so the new experience was really cool! The driver was very nice, and he told us lots of things about the trolley. I enjoyed the ride around downtown OKC. The scene was wonderful! I want to ride it again so bad!!!!!

C:
The trolley seemed like a bus. If you wanted to stop somewhere, they have this thing that you pull so that know that you want to stop. We had trolley stops where people were waiting so that they could get on the trolley.
